18-19, 2019 (Fri-Sat): Artie Yellowhorse Jewelry Show with Guest Artists Artie Yellowhorse (Navajo) and Marian Hansson (Kiowa)

Artie Yellowhorse (Navajo) and Marian Hansson will join us with their latest collections of Artie Yellowhorse Design jewelry and Marian Hansson’s “Spotted Wings” applique dance shawls and denim jackets. See their latest selection during Shop hours (Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and meet and greet the artists from 12 noon – 4:00 p.m. each day (Friday and Saturday). November 2019 - National American Indian Heritage Month

This is a time to recognize and celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, arts and more of the American Indian and Alsaka Natives from across the country.

November 7-28, 2019 - Carvings of Alaska

Carvings of Alaska will fill our Shop with our annual shipments of walrus tusk ivory carvings, whalebone carvings and masks and baleen baskets. Learn more about these arts and carvings of Alaska.

November 15 – 16, 2019 - Earl Plummer (Navajo) Jewelry Show

Earl Plummer will join us with his latest collection of channel and cobblestone inlay jewelry. Meet and greet Earl from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. each day. Learn more about this talented, award-winning artist

INDIAN CRAFT SHOP SATURDAY HOURS --

The Indian Craft Shop is open Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the third Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Shop is closed on federal holidays. A photo ID is required for entrance to the building. Visitors may enter the building at the C Street or E Street entrances (E Street is closest to Metro). Handicap access is available at E Street. (For weekend handicap access on E Street, contact the Shop at (202) 208-4056 ahead of time if possible.)

Public Transportation

There is metered parking on the street. Farragut West and Farragut North are the closest metro stops. It's a six-block walk, or catch an S1 or 80 bus to 18th and C Streets. There is metered parking on the street and several parking lots within a few blocks.
